Wireless gas monitoring

Recently Gas-Sensing introduced a new accessory making it possible to connect gas monitors to the internet. We call this accessory the Wireless Monitoring and Data Logging Kit. This has sparked a lot of interest and we have had excellent feedback from our customers who have purchased and are using this kit.

How it works

The Wireless Monitoring and Data Logging Kit works by wiring a current or voltage sensor to the analog outputs, which correspond with the gas concentration on a fixed gas monitor. The current or voltage sensor communicates with a gateway which is connected to the internet, and finally to view and collect the data in real time, you simply open up the online portal with the credentials we provide you.

This essentially makes any fixed mount gas monitor we offer wireless and IoT enabled (Internet of Things).

This accessory will be wired and mounted on your gas monitor before shipment, making this as user friendly as possible.

Here is one of the success stories we have had since launching the Wireless Monitoring and Data Logging Kit.

Brandon works for a University and sterilizes laboratories with high concentrations of Hydrogen Peroxide. He would typically treat 3 rooms simultaneously, and all three rooms were connected to a hallway.

Before contacting Gas Sensing he was unsure of the Hydrogen Peroxide levels achieved  during a treatment inside of the rooms. He also had to sit in the hallway with a handheld monitor during the entire treatment  (4-5 Hours).

So we provided a simple solution.

We provided him with 3) 0-1000 PPM Hydrogen Peroxide sensors for the rooms being treated, and 1) 0-10 PPM Hydrogen Peroxide Sensor for the hallway to detect any possible leaks.

This was using the B12 2 Wire Transmitter from ATI, with the remote monitoring and data logging accessory attached.

This way Brandon could open up the online portal to see his hydrogen peroxide concentrations in real time, and set notifications when specific conditions are met.
