We are now offering the S-500 as a rental product (along with the S-200). For the S-500 Rental, we have rental sensors for the following gases: Nitrogen Dioxide 0-1 ppm (ENW), Ozone 0-0.5 ppm (OZL), Particulate Matter 10/2.5 (PM), VOC 0-500 ppm (VP), and Carbon Monoxide 0-1000 ppm (CO). When it comes to renting the S-500, you will have the choice of which sensor you would like with it, as well as the ability to choose additional sensors that you may need. We have options for either 7-day or 30-day rental agreements and all sensors are recalibrated when they come back to the shop, ensuring that you are getting a portable monitor that runs in perfect condition.
Product Highlights
When it comes to gas sensing monitors, Aeroqual delivers products that are second to none. The staple of their elite portable gas sensor lineup is the S-500 Portable Monitor, which we are proud to sell on our Gas-Sensing website. The S-500 is the highest performing sensor from Aeroqual’s product line that also includes the S-200 and the S-300. In this blog, we will cover exactly what makes the S-500 superior to other portable monitors on the market today.
The Series 500 enables accurate real-time surveying of common indoor air pollutants, all in an ultra portable handheld indoor air quality monitor. Data is stored on board the Series 500 with a maximum 8,188 records available. A USB cable is supplied for connection to PC, so the data can be downloaded. Free PC software provided with the Series 500 takes the data and presents it in a chart or table view. Data can be downloaded and viewed in Excel.
The monitor can also operate in control mode. Upper and lower control limits can be easily set directly on the display. Using the 0-5V output the Series 500 can be used to switch on or off an externally connected device, such as an ozone generator, or system in the presence of a predetermined level of gas.
Other features on the Series 500 include monitor ID and location ID. Monitor ID identifies the monitor uniquely and ensures that all data are tied to that monitor. Location ID can be used to tag measurements to a specific location which is helpful when sampling at a number of sites over the course of a day or week.
