Choosing the Right Range and Liter Size
When selecting the right range for calibrating your equipment, it’s better to opt for a lower range rather than a higher one. For example, if you’re using our ATI Hydrogen Chloride sensor (00-1017), which measures 0-20 ppm, choosing the 100 ppm range is more appropriate than the 25 ppm range. Selecting a range that is too high could damage your sensor and void its warranty.
As for cylinder size, consider how often you’ll be using it. A 34L cylinder won’t last as long as a 120L one. For daily calibration of sensor heads, a 120L cylinder is ideal. However, if you’re only calibrating a sensor once a year, a 34L cylinder is sufficient.
