ATIs B12 Wet Gas Transmitter is the perfect unit for wet environments (100% moisture saturated atmosphere). The unit is a loop-powered 2-wire transmitter and has a corrosion resistant sensor perfect for direct measurement. The B12 is especially popular in chlorine storage facilities and chemical process plants as they are required to scrub exhaust gas streams to remove halogen and acid gases.
For remote display and alarm functions, the B12 can be paired with the B14 Alarm Receiver System and provide direct digital display of gas concentration, plus 3 alarm set points, remote alarm reset input, and re-transmitted 4-20mA output. The B12 can also be tied directly to your PC or other equipment to display readings. (see below for typical installation of the B12).
There are a few custom options that can be added/done when you order the B12 such as:
