Description / UV-106-H
The UV-106-H is a high range ozone analyzer featuring ozone measurements up to 20% by weight to verify ozone generator production in process. Range of 0-20% by weight, or 0-14% by volume with resolution of 0.01%.
Bench mount ozone analyzer is compact and easy to use. The UV-106-H is also available in an OEM configuration or in an Industrial enclosure.
The UV-106H Ozone Analyzer is a flow-through design ozone analyzer that allows gas to flow directly through the unit unimpeded. Gas flows as low as 0.5 LPM will provide accurate ozone readings. A pressure-compensated cell allows for gas pressures from 0-50 PSI, allowing for true inline operation with an ozone generator.
If you're looking to temporarily monitor ozone, we have a Rental Option HERE

UV Absorption Technology:
Measuring ozone by UV absorption provides the highest accuracy and reliability in ozone monitoring. Ozone measurements as high as 20% by weight can be measured accurately without degrading the sensor device. Unlike electrochemical or metal-oxide sensors, UV absorption directly measures ozone using its natural absorption of ultraviolet light at 254 nm. This method is absolute, meaning it does not drift, degrade, or require frequent recalibration. As a result, UV analyzers deliver long-term stability at high ozone concentrations.
UV Absorption Technology provides:
- Highest accuracy and repeatability
- No drift and minimal calibration requirements
- Excellent long-term stability
- Minimal, or zero cross-sensitivity from competing gasses in the environment
- Minimal influence from humidity and temperature changes
- Direct, real-time measurement of true ozone concentration

UV-106H used to measure Ozone Generator Production:
The image below provides an excellent illustration of the UV-106H in use to measure ozone concentration and therefore, ozone production from an ozone generator.
More info on this process and set-up is available HERE.
An ozone-resistant flowmeter and destruct unit are needed to provide a complete set-up. Suggestions for each are shown at links with images below:
Ozone Flowmeter:
To measure, divert, and regulate the ozone gas stream to the ozone generator an ozone resistant flowmeter is needed. The FMSS-2 shown below is an excellent option.
Other flow ranges of ozone flowmeters are available here.
Ozone Destruct Unit:
To eliminate ozone at the outlet of the UV-106H an ozone destruct unit should be used. The CDU-15, shown below, is an excellent, compact option.
Larger ozone destruct units available HERE.
Ozone Tubing:
Ozone tubing to flow ozone to and from the UV-106H is shown below. The UV-106H uses 1/4" OD compression fittings. 1/4" OD tubing can be used to flow ozone gas through the flowmeter, to the UV-106H and to the destruct unit.
Datalogging:
Ozone levels are logged internally with onboard datalogging software.
Data can be transmitted from the UV-106H via USB or RS-232 directly to your computer. Data is transmitted via a CSV file. Up to 10,000 lines of data can be stored on the device.
- Logged data can include
- Ozone levels
- Temperature
- Date/Time stamp
Carry Case:
A high-quality carry case is available as an option with the UV-106H Ozone Analyzer. The carry case will have foam cut-outs to fit the UV-106H and have space for all customary accessories such as the flowmeter, destruct unit, and tubing. The carry case is durable, high quality, and will allow easy transport, even shipping of the UV-106H Ozone Analyzer.
