Sensor modules are ATI's newsest miniaturized smart sensor modules. Each sensor module is actually a sensor, amplifier, and memory module in one compact package. Becuase of this design, sensor modules can be calibrated independently and simply pluggd into any detector for immediate use. When installed in a detector, calibration data is loading into the microprocessor so that no adjustments are needed. The result is that a detector can, for example, go from phosgene measurment to ammonia measurement in less than one minte.
Using the optional sensor keeper allows up to 4 sensors to be powered by the internal sensor keeper battery and keep sensors ready for use. This ensures maximum accuracy in the shortest time frame possible.
Smart sensors are calibrated to the standard range of gas detection as oulined in the specificatoins below. Each sensor can be calibrated to any range within the minimum or maximum range. There is an additional $50 calibration fee for custom calibration
All smart sensors are constructed of glass filled polycarbonate and use an electrochemical cell for gas detection.
