Choosing the Right Range and Liter Size:

When choosing the right range for calibrating your equipment, it's better to go for a lower range instead of a higher one. Let's take our ATI Hydrogen sensor 00-1041, which measures 0-2000 ppm, as an example. Here, picking the 1000 ppm range is better than the 2500 ppm range. Going too high could harm your sensor and void its warranty.

As for cylinder size, consider how many uses you'll get out of it. A 34L cylinder won't last as long as a 120L one. We usually use the 120L size for calibrating sensor heads since we calibrate gases daily. But if you're calibrating a sensor just once a year, the 34L cylinder is a better fit!
