Description / UV-106-MH
The UV-106-MH is a medium/high range ozone analyzer featuring ozone measurements up to 10,000 ppm with low range measurement of ozone down to 0.1 ppm.
Bench mount ozone analyzer is compact and easy to use. The UV-106-MH can be purchased in either the bench mount or NEMA enclosure.
Integrated sample pump will pull a sample of ozone from your process or location into the analyzer and measure ozone in that gas stream. A UV lamp and receptor are used to determine the quantity of ozone in gas by determining the rate of ozone absorption by the UV lamp. This method of ozone detection will offer accurate detection of ozone at levels up to 10,000 ppn without compromising low range detection of 0.1 ppm, while eliminating most cross-sensitivity from other gasses.
If you're looking to temporarily monitor ozone, we have a UV-106-M Ozone Analyzer Rental available here.

UV Absorption Technology:
Measuring ozone by UV absorption provides the highest accuracy and reliability in ozone monitoring. Unlike electrochemical or metal-oxide sensors, UV absorption directly measures ozone using its natural absorption of ultraviolet light at 254 nm. This method is absolute, meaning it does not drift, degrade, or require frequent recalibration. As a result, UV analyzers deliver long-term stability and precise readings even in demanding industrial or water-treatment environments.
Sensor-based ozone monitors depend on chemical reactions inside the sensor element. These sensors gradually degrade, drift over time, and are affected by humidity, temperature, and the presence of interfering gases. They require periodic recalibration and sensor replacement—adding cost and reducing measurement certainty. The UV Absorption technology eliminates most all cross-sensitivities from interfering gases in the air.
UV Absorption Technology provides:
- Highest accuracy and repeatability
- No drift and minimal calibration requirements
- Excellent long-term stability
- Minimal, or zero cross-sensitivity from competing gasses in the environment
- Minimal influence from humidity and temperature changes
- Direct, real-time measurement of true ozone concentration

Datalogging:
Ozone levels are logged internally with onboard datalogging software.
Data can be transmitted from the UV-106MH via USB or RS-232 directly to your computer. Data is transmitted via a CSV file. Up to 10,000 lines of data can be stored on the device.
- Logged data can include
- Ozone levels
- Temperature
- Date/Time stamp
Sample Pump:
Internal sample pump creates flow through the UV-106MH Ozone Analzyer. Sample gas flow is measured and can be displayed on the screen to ensure sufficient gas flow is present for accurate ozone measurements.
A flow control valve is built in to adjust flow based on environmental conditions or sample tubing length.
A low-flow status indicator light on the control face of the UV-106MH will illuminate and indicate a condition where sample flow is insufficient for accurate ozone measurements.
The digital flowmeter and flow control valve are unique features to the 2B product line. These features ensure flow is sufficient for accurate ozone measurements, and any condition outside the requirements creates an alarm or alert to be corrected by the operator.
Ozone Scrubbers:
Internal ozone scrubbers are used to provide zero-gas ozone samples for reference during operation. Ozone scrubbers also eliminate any ozone from the sample stream. Therefore, if ozone samples are pulled into the UV-106MH no ozone is exhausted from the device, ensuring a safe working space for personnel and equipment.
A zero-gas scrubber is included with the package and provides a tool for manually zeroing the ozone analyzer if necessary.
Calibration:
The UV-106MH is shipped with a NIST traceable calibration certificate.
Future calibrations of both Span and Zero can be made easily with the user interface.
External Filter:
The sample gas drawn into the UV-106MH should be clean and dry to eliminate interference from dust or humidity.
An external filter is available to ensure the sample gas is clean and filtered. The Teflon filter disc is replaceable in the canister, allowing filter changes without the need to disconnect the ozone lines.
Carry Case:
A high-quality carry case is available as an option with the UV-106MH Ozone Analyzer. The carry case will have foam cut-outs to fit the UV-106MH and have space for all customary accessories. The carry case is durable, high quality, and will allow easy transport, even shipping of the UV-106MH Ozone Analyzer.
