Description / Aeroqual R13 Remote Sensor Head Adapter
The IP41 Remote Sensor Kit is designed to allow the sensor head to be located up to 14 meters (46 feet) away from the instrument base using a standard CAT5 cable (10 meter (32.8 feet) cable supplied). The instrument is used when there is a need to measure gas in an environment in which the user does not wish to be present or where there is a requirement for the sensor to be separate from the monitor base. It is a plug-and-play device that needs no additional configuration. The IP41 enclosure also gives extra protection to the sensor head from contamination by dust and water which could reduce the life of the sensor.

The R13 Remote Sensor Head Adapter allows for remote monitoring of a chamber or room while you are safely in another location, connected via cable. The R13 has the added benefit of a NEMA 2 enclosure, providing protection against "dripping and light splashing of liquids". If you would like to monitor gas levels remotely but need to contend with splashing in your environment, the R13 is the accessory for you! It is compatible with any sensor head that you can use on the Series 200, 300, 305, 500 and 505 handheld monitors.

Usage is simple - install your sensor head into the R13, install the communication head (provided with the R13) into your handheld, and connect the communication head to the R13 with the provided cable. All of your monitor functionality remains the same!
