Description / SM-6 Sensor 0-20 ppm SM-X
The SM-6 Sensor can be used as a stand-alone OEM solution with RS-232 communications, or used as the sensor module with the OS-4 or OS-6 Ozone Monitors.
The SM-6 uses the standard SM-X replaceable Sensor Chip. The SM-X is precalibrated and can be replaced in the SM-6 without any other changes necessary, and nothing to be shipped back for calibration.
If the intention is to use this as a stand-alone sensor it is best to call for details on the application. The SM-6 uses a very specific RS-232 communications protocol to provide ozone data. This will limit the number of uses for this as an OEM type sensor.
