PortaSens Private Label Information

The Portasens is known as a great ambient air portable gas leak detector that features:
- electrochemical smart-cell sensor (which can be calibrated independently of the unit)
- available to measure over 30 types of gases
- a rugged internal sample pump
- excellent accuracy and repeatability
- easy to read back-lit LED display
- flexible wand for pinpointing leak points
- datalogging capabilities
- integrated audible alarms

Because of the many attractive features and capabilities, the ATI Portasens has been branded and private labeled by many different companies over the years.  For example: Honeywell purchased and private labeled them as the EC-P2 Gas Detector, but back in 2014 Honeywell stopped private labeling these and selling them, and then in 2015 stopped supporting these units. Despite the fact that the Portasens might looking slightly different due to the different branding; the sensor and parts are interchangeable. So even though Honeywell might not be supporting those units anymore, replacement parts can still be purchased from Gas-Sensing using the ATI part number instead.  See the below table showing all of the ATI replacement sensor part numbers.
